AIRCRAFT OVERHAUL SUPERVISOR

The primary purpose of this position is: This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position located in the Specialist Section in the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. The purpose of this position is to serve as the Specialist Section Chief. Trains reservist in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein. DUTIES: DUTY 1: Performs work planning responsibilities. Plans on a weekly or monthly basis the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials in an organizational segment or group. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors. DUTY 2: Maintains surveillance of work in progress, notes problem areas, and initiates corrective action within scope of assignment. Meets with and explains work requirements to subordinate supervisors and/or employees (e.g., time required, priority, and peculiarities of work). DUTY 3: Performs administration responsibilities.
