About the role
This position plans and carries out a variety of budgetary, administrative research, and program planning activities. This position starts at a salary of $89,508.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $116,362.00 (GS-12, Step 10) . The Mission Support Specialist (Finance) performs significant review and analysis of budget, management, training, logistics, procurement, and other areas of mission support resources. Duties and responsibilities include: Formulating, developing, and executing the overall aspects of a budget; applying administrative concepts, laws, policies, and analytical methods to ensure compliance and address technical issues, problems, and procedural requirements. Developing, integrating and executing the operating budget; overseeing expenditures to ensure allocations and monetary commitments are monitored and paid accordingly.
