About the role
As a PSC Craftsman (Training Coordinator) I & II, you will: Coordinate new Trainee orientation (program guidelines, materials, processes, related study, etc.). Work with Craft Committee to coordinate end-of-step (EOS) schedule; provide notice of equipment assignments and deadlines to Trainee(s) for beginning of step notice (BOS) and documents any assignment changes. Grade Trainee lesson assignments. Provide counsel and feedback, tutoring or other instruction. Periodically serve as an instructor; provide instruction during open study halls, and individual one-on-one training sessions to close gaps in knowledge, skills, and abilities. Provide feedback to Trainee, supervisor, and Craft Committee on Trainee progress in meeting training program requirements. Work with Trainee's immediate supervisor to identify field training opportunities to meet program requirements.
