About the role

The Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) provides leadership, direction, and oversight of the Agency's human capital programs and policies. OCHCO is responsible for developing and implementing strategic human capital management practices that align with the Agency's mission, goals, and priorities. The Office serves as the principal advisor to Agency leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, organizational development, training, executive resources, performance management and employee engagement. As the Deputy CHCO, the incumbent fully participates in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the Agency's human capital programs, serving as the CHCO's alter ego. Specific duties of the position include, but are not limited to: - Accomplishing or directing the planning and other related staff work involved in the review, development, and execution of new or modified plans and programs for the overall OCHCO program. - Organizing
