SENIOR SCIENTIST FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

You will research, plan, and influence the direction of science and technology programs in support of NRL, DON and DoW, to include acting as the Principal Investigator (PI) on projects. You will collaborate with internal and external researchers, build teams and oversee interdisciplinary research in support of Artificial Intelligence. You will formulate research proposals, solicit funding for research proposals, and report the progress of the projects to sponsors and supervisors. You will make recommendations that will create precedents and guide DON/DoW and other organizations on programs of major significance. You will disseminate scientific results and present scientific results to peers, professional audiences at national and international conferences, and funding agencies. You will be recognized as a world-leading expert, serve as a consultant in artificial intelligence technology and will be solicited to provide assessments and evaluations for specific military systems and applic
