About the role
1. Provides position classification services involving complex and controversial classification issues for civilian positions across the Air Force (AF). Positions include a wide range of professional, scientific, administrative, and highly technical positions. 2. Provides position management advisory services in dealing with difficult, complex, and often controversial position management issues. Offers authoritative advice and assistance to supervisors and managers to help them achieve the most efficient, effective, and economical usage of human resources in their organizations. 3. Participates in special initiatives, studies and projects. Participates in such projects as self-assessment reviews, review of draft classification standards, outsourcing reviews, and other projects as they arise. 4.
