Supervisory Archivist NF-04

Directs overall archives operation for Stars and Stripes media organization. Performs professional archival work in appraising, accessing, arranging, describing, preserving and publishing records created by the news organization. Responsible for maintaining historical content of Stars and Stripes publications from World War II to the present. Identifies and directs the purchase of relevant reference materials. Evaluates effectiveness of the archive automated systems, determines requirements and conducts studies to improve systems operations. Supervises assigned staff, conducts employee appraisals, advocates training, and provides appropriate recognition and feedback for performance.
