About the role
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for planning, directing and administering a comprehensive district-wide security program. Typical work assignments will include: Serving as the district expert and principal point-of-contact for all physical security matters. Coordinating, planning, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of all physical security and systems, equipment, and building modification necessary to ensure adequate security is maintained. Participating in contingency and emergency preparedness planning efforts to enable the district to continue essential operations and discharge responsibilities during and following various types of emergency situations. Serving as the Communication Security (COMSEC) Representative responsible for the proper receipt, accounting, and safeguarding of COMSEC material.
