Director of Nursing (DON)

Provides senior-level supervision and direction to nursing and clinical staff. Plans, implements, and evaluates clinical programs and services. Oversees daily operations to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Ensures compliance with federal regulations, accreditation standards, and HHS policies. Develops and monitors budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation. Leads quality improvement, patient safety, and performance management initiatives. Conducts staff recruitment, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and external partners. Develops policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice. Analyzes data and prepares reports to support leadership decision-making.
