About the role
Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Policy and Standardization Program Support Specialist and Branch Chief for the National Guard Bureau Joint Staff Cyberspace Operations Division (J36). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interpreting and implementing policies, executing authorities, identifying program shortfalls/gaps, and developing guidance, standards, and processes for the division's mission that impacts the National Guard Cyber Forces. Serves as the recognized authority and primary advisor to the Cyberspace Operations Directorate on all Cyberspace Operations Division functions. Plans, develops, and directs advisory and services for the National Guard Bureau-wide program. Coordinates directly and on behalf of the J36 with the Air and Army National Headquarters, Joint Staff, Services, Combatant Commands, and Interagency partners on National Guard titles, authorities, and capabilities regarding cyberspace operations.
