ATTORNEY-ADVISER (GENERAL)

A General Law Advisor advises the Chief, NGB, the Vice Chief, NGB, and the Director of the NGB Joint Staff on a host of general law matters. Incumbent acts as the lead ethics advisor to the Chief and Vice Chief, NGB, the Directors of the Army and Air National Guard and their respective staffs, and the full-time State and Staff Judge Advocates. Incumbent provides the full range of legal services but focuses primarily on NGB's Standards of Conduct Program. Incumbent also provides administrative law support to senior leaders and conducts legal sufficiency reviews for complex investigations and NGB Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses.
