Investigative Specialist

Research, obtain, and analyze classified and unclassified databases to follow trends of criminal violations related to passport and visa fraud, including fraudulent misconduct with potential nexus to human trafficking and national security threats. Search and link various databases information that determines criminal activities or methodologies to support criminal prosecutions. Conducts electronic record checks and evaluations of documents to identify potential leads, for investigative caseloads. Attend and contribute to criminal investigative briefings, presentations, and other platforms addressing investigative procedures, evidence collection processes, and related informational products. Input, track, and review analytical data trends that supports the nature, type, and mode of potential subjects' criminal behavior and activities.
