About the role
As an Information Technology Specialist (SYSADMIN), you will: Serves as the technical authority for evaluating CEC projects for compliance with USDA and enterprise IT architecture standards. Provides expert recommendations on architectural modifications, system enhancements, and technology selections to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and strategically aligned. Coordinate with other offices to achieve integrated systems administration for information system design and development. Collaborates with stakeholders across CEC, agency partners, and enterprise technical teams to design and recommend improvements to applications, systems, and infrastructure. Identifies, evaluates, and proposes innovative, practical, and forward-leaning technological advancements for consideration in future CEC design and implementation cycles.
