About the role
If selected for this position, you will be responsible for performing docketing and complex legal report development using computerized case tracking and record-keeping systems for the United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of Illinois. Typical duties include: Serving as a source of procedural and systemic information on all aspects of docketing functions; Functioning as the docketing system subject matter expert and training other employees on related processes and procedures; Maintaining and extracting data from automated docketing databases and systems; Inputting information into databases and systems and updating records; Developing and maintaining automated records from initial referral to final disposition and case file closure; Receiving and reviewing incoming case files and documents; analyzing content to determine the nature of the office's interest and cause of action.
