About the role
You will direct facility planning, special projects, and military construction (MILCON) programming and execution. You will work closely with host commands inside and outside of the DoN and naval components that have a primary interest in facilities under study. You will analyze findings, discuss and negotiate with concerned parties for approval of recommendations and proposals and act as the FNMOC point of contact for all HPC center-related facility programs. You will prepare and review justification, technical, and engineering requirements information for facility special projects submission under the shore facilities planning system. You will consult with CNMOC and Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) and recommend acceptance, rejection, or modification of proposals.
