About the role
Leads a group of employees providing technical processing work for all geospatial and photographic materials produced and furnished to USDA, other federal and state agencies and the general public. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates Section operations, by performing analysis of workloads, assigned tasks, and data relative to program operations. Conduct long-range planning in connection with current program operations and projected changes in organizational structure, functions, and programs. Serve as technical advisor and liaison to all customers, including but not limited to the FPAC, U.S. Forest and other Federal Agencies. as well as non-federal State and local agencies.
