Supervisory Security Guard

Manage a large guard workforce with the primary function of conducting access control. Professional competence in security to ensure management of the security force and compliance with rules and regulations. Responsible for keeping the Director of Emergency Services informed. Specifically responsible for assisting in the interpretation and implementation of directives from higher authorities. Deal with workers and union representatives to resolve complaints and grievances. Establish performance standards and evaluates subordinate supervisors. Exercise responsibility in dealing with officials in other units/organizations and/or provides advice to management officials of higher grade. Review and approve training for security forces to ensure training standards meet regulatory guidelines. Publish personnel duty schedule, identify, and submit request for personnel actions, modifications or changes and award nominations.
