About the role
Oversees, coordinates, manages, and directs full range of criminal investigations. Directs and coordinates research and analysis of cases to determine the applicable laws and the implementing regulations which were violated. Manages and oversees the reporting of investigative findings for prosecutive and management officials. Assists the Special Agent in Charge with the planning of investigative work. Serves as a liaison with Federal Prosecutive and investigative offices for all investigations. Provides expert advice and assistance to Department of Justice attorneys in preparation of cases for grand juries and other criminal proceedings. Plans, organizes, and provides direction to a staff with respect to case development, investigative techniques, and methodology.
