About the role
Serves as an installation Sexual Assault/Sexual Harassment Victim Advocate. Provides a wide range of essential support and advocacy services, liaison services, and care to victims of sexual assault/sexual harassment in accordance with generally accepted procedures and techniques Maintains support and follow-up contact with sexual assault/sexual harassment victims throughout the lifecycle of the case. Assists the installation SARC in the development and delivery of comprehensive sexual assault/sexual harassment training. Represents the SAPR installation program for both military and civilian agencies. Establishes liaison with local victim support agencies in order to gain support and cooperation in achieving support for victims of sexual assault/sexual harassment and to promote the enhancement of the sexual assault/sexual harassment prevention and response services.
