FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will assist in the performance of functions such as formulation of budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will develop and apply competencies through on-the-job and/or classroom training in the application of concepts, principles, standards, terminology, practices, and procedures in a variety of financial administration and management duties. You will receive developmental assignments designed to increase the employee’s knowledge and understanding of the functions of budget, accounting, and financial management. You will perform limited studies or assists a higher-graded analyst with full scale studies. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepares summaries for use by higher-graded analysts.
