About the role
You will provide advice and guidance and serve as a maritime industry specialist in support of command programs. You will perform a wide variety of administrative, technical, analytical, and managerial functions while performing interagency coordination, liaison, and project development. You will participate in the program decision-making process, serving as an expert in the maritime community with responsibility for overall management and direction for maritime special programs. You will develop plans to ensure timely introduction of new or revised procedures, techniques, and concepts, initiating them into the training programs. You will provide program oversight on assigned programs, establish program objectives, initiatives, plans, directs and executes requirements.
