About the role
Incumbent serves as Administrative Officer at the Riverside National Cemetery. The incumbent performs a wide range of budgetary program oversight, procurement, and personnel management functions in administering the facilities operational programs. An objective of the position is to assess the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of the program operations at these sites and to recommend resolution of problems in a full range of administrative activities. Incumbent's primary duty at these sites is to support management in meeting the goals and objectives of the National Cemetery Administration and the Pacific District Office. The primary qualification requirements are analytical ability, substantive knowledge of programs as they effect the operation of a large cemetery and knowledge of pertinent statistical, accounting, budget and economic principles and techniques. Incumbent also performs administrative work concerned with establishing and maintaining employer/employee relations
