About the role
The incumbent is a member of the management team and is a technical advisor with expertise in all aspects of the operational/field management within Tahoma National Cemetery and two satellite cemeteries (Ft. Lawton in Seattle, WA and Ft. Worden in Port Townsend, WA). The incumbent serves as Foreman with full supervisory responsibility for the field operations of all three facilities. In this capacity, he/she has full responsibility for all interments, headstones/markers, grounds maintenance, building maintenance and maintenance of the entire inventory of vehicles and equipment. Advises the Director on technical aspects of the field operations and resource management to include, but not limited to, staffing levels, equipment, and vehicles required to meet the mission of the cemetery.
