Production Controller (Medical)

Perform programming, budgeting, scheduling, progress reporting, and cost control where funding limitation exists for a combination of commodity categories and production operation. Determine capabilities and availability of facilities; develop manhours and cost data to determine whether the program can be accepted and accomplished within prescribed funding limitations. Provide technical advice and work in coordination with parts managers and shop supervisors to determine material and parts required to meet production schedules for a variety of assigned programs. Conduct meetings and liaises with internal/external organizations. Prepare bid sheets, letters, and memos regarding production schedules, estimates, and funding. Analyze production data to inform planning and scheduling. Identify and resolve production delays, justify funding requirements, and coordinate with other branches to adjust schedules and implement corrective actions.
