About the role
Operate various makes, types, and sizes of container handling equipment, capable of lifting up to 99,000 pounds as high as 48 feet, to perform the loading, unloading, moving, or lifting of heavy containers. Load, unload, lift, and move MILVAN containers loaded with ammunition, explosives, and components (including guided missiles, bombs, high explosives, and ammunition components. Operate a gasoline or diesel-powered truck tractor with semi-trailer, Strad-O-Lift trailer to haul high explosives, munitions, and components as well as inert items (small arms, pallets, boxes, empty projectiles, salvage metal, etc.) Handle material such as high explosives, ammunition components, guided missiles, rockets, etc. Load and unload cargo. Segregate items according to condition codes, lot number, quantity, etc. Store stack and palletize items.
