About the role
You will conduct continuing surveillances of work involving radioactive materials and radiological controls associated with Naval nuclear propulsion plant work. You will plan, direct, distribute, and balance the workload among subordinate supervisors and assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload. You will resolve and analyze technical problems and areas beyond the capacity of subordinates, problems which involve policy determination, and recommend proposed resolutions to the Division Head for approval. You will initiate personnel actions such as performance appraisals of personnel directly supervised. You will review evaluations made by supervisors on other employees which include understanding and evaluating the details of job execution and make selections for subordinate positions.
