Management and Program Analyst

As a Management and Program Analyst, PT-0343-3, your typical work assignments may include the following: Conducts comprehensive organizational studies in order to identify and propose solutions to management problems. Conducts analyses and develops policies and procedures regarding resource utilization, organization, mission and functions, workload analysis and measurement. Collaborates with the Executive Committee, Managing Directors, and other GAO leaders and managers to examine programs and operations and develop strategic objectives and business plans that focus on improving program performance and achieving outcomes. Regularly validates and revises plans. Serves as a consultant and advisor to management in developing strategies that focus on achieving results and forecasting future trends into program planning initiatives.
