Supply Management Specialist

Duties listed are at the full performance GS-11 level. Serves as an assistant manager and performs supervisory duties 20% or less of the time. Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of activities of the National Interagency Support Cache (NISC). Assists in the development and implementation of the Cache Management and Inventory Management Plans supporting the NISC while providing for the integration of fire management needs at the geographical level to insure mission accomplishments. Provides support to functional areas, such as supplies, storage and distribution, supply systems development, hazardous materials, small engine repair and Special Emphasis programs (National Symbols program, Publications and Medical). Manages the operational implementation of the cache redistribution program, identifying items available, organizing distribution, and shipping.
