Compliance Investigator

The duties described below are at the full performance level (GS-12). Incumbents hired at the GS-9 or GS-11 grade level will serve in a developmental capacity, where the incumbent works under closer supervision while continuing to exercise supervisory and managerial authority assigned for the position. Support state, multi-state, and regional oversight, programmatic analysis and coordination and program performance of VETS' investigations of compliance activities of employers, businesses, government contractors/subcontractors and other entities. Conduct, coordinate, or work with others in conducting, investigations of USERRA complaints filed by veterans; Active, Reserve, and National Guard (NG) uniformed service members; members of the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS), when authorized; and other persons engaged in USERRA protected activity.
