Staff Appraiser

Appraisal services pertain to the disposal of real property, related personal property and machinery and equipment, and include appraisal review, consultation, feasibility studies and market analysis. Serves as advisor and technical authority on real property valuation matters. Provides valuation expertise to agency leadership, Realty Specialists, and other Federal agencies on highest and best use proposals, land use plans, disposal and reuse plans, etc. Provides solutions to appraisal-related problems; advises on questionable and/or controversial property valuations/evaluations. Provides pre-approval and post-review consultations as needed. Advises on release of select appraisal reports and related information throughout the office and to other planning and operational activities as appropriate.
