Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist

Serves as Material Management Cell Chief and represents DLA Weapons Support as the supply chain manager at an industrial site. Maintains customer relationships to monitor supply sources, ensure asset availability, and prevent work stoppages. Provides efficient material management support for assigned military service production lines and groups. Oversees material management and storage implementation for assigned items. Coordinates government fund expenditures for material purchases and ensures accurate inventory. Conducts or participates in studies, projects, and surveys to identify improvements in material management for supported commodities and weapon systems.
