General Supply Specialist (Leader)

Monitors distribution, quality, and storage performance and recommends adjustments across stock management, materiel control, and quality assurance programs. Responds to customer inquiries and prepares documentation to support investigations into S and D operations. Evaluates and analyzes corrective action plans for stock surveillance, product integrity, process movement, and distribution issues. Serves as liaison between the distribution center and S and D on Inventory, Location Survey, Planography, Violations, and COSIS actions. Coordinates DSS-related complaints/problems and ensures entry into the Ticket database. Performs comparative studies to identify trends, causes, and impacts; evaluates problems; and recommends corrective actions using reports from the distribution center, military officials, and DLA/DoD customers. Prepares briefings, presentations, memorandums, and reports based on study findings and recommendations for higher-level officials.
