SUPERVISORY FUNDS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the AF Services Center's Cash Operations and Integration Branch, ensuring AFSVC complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents AFSVC with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), HAF/AIS, SAF/FMCEB, etc. Performs all duties and responsibilities necessary to develop, coordinate, and finalize system modifications on the Air Force cash management system. As the AFSVC foreign currency manager, personally maintains daily contact with domestic and foreign banks to obtain the best foreign currency rates available to meet Air Force foreign currency needs.
