About the role
Provides assistance to DoD, Federal Agencies and authorized donor customers in screening and selecting property for reutilization. Performs a variety of property disposal, control and advisory activities such as advising on the destruction, demilitarization (Demil) or abandonment of property; recognizes Demil property and its applicable requirements. Ensures that the contractor completes all work on the task order and notifies the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) if performance is not proceeding satisfactorily or if problems are anticipated and recommends remedial action. Ensures sales/referrals are in accordance with good merchandising practices and regulatory requirements. Resolves a variety of problems in carrying out all phases of the disposal of excess and surplus government property.
