About the role

As an Equal Employment Specialist, at the full performance level you will perform the following duties: Advising OCRC senior leadership, program offices, managers, and supervisors to develop strategies to solve unusually difficult program issues to increase program performance related to critical ICE-wide program services. Collaborating with DHS, other federal, state and local counterparts, professional organizations, schools, universities, and national and local organizations to identify and improve employment opportunities and promote equal opportunity for women, minorities, and other special emphasis groups; Developing and maintaining program-wide plans and reports, white papers, and presentations detailing program achievements, need for program improvements, and research findings; Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), programs, and other instructional material related to implementing new or modified legislation, regulations, or court decisions.
