Pharmacist

Dispenses, prescribes and/ or administers medicine. Responsible for evaluation, transcription and interpretation of a physician’s prescription order. Screen for drug interactions and reviews pertinent laboratory results. Responsible for the monitoring, detecting, documenting, reporting, and managing of adverse drug events. Interviews patients to assess for drug allergies and past adverse medication reactions. Documents pharmaceutical care activities in the medical record Prepares, compounds, and dispenses pharmaceuticals for patients of all ages, Ensure proper handling and dispensing of investigational drugs.
