Supervisory Nurse (Clinical/Psychiatric)

Review physician's orders written during the shift and assists on clarification of orders if necessary. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients based on physician's medical care plan and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient. Provide direct supervision for registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, licensed psychiatric technicians, mental health workers, medical support assistants. Administer oxygen and prescribed oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary group to formulate plans of care that are individualized and in accordance with accepted standards
