RECREATION ASSISTANT (OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES)

Performs tasks and assists in the operation and maintenance of a variety of recreational facilities and equipment. Provides resource information and rules on outdoor activities such as fishing, diving, surfing, boating, and camping. Demonstrates the safe and proper usage techniques for all rental and loan equipment. Visually inspects condition of rented equipment both at check in and check out, assess charges for damaged equipment and prepares damage reports as required. Performs minor maintenance and repair on equipment rental and loan items. Handles all transactions relating to the rental to include check IDs for patron eligibility. Prepares skis and snowboards for rental to include mounting, bindings, waxing, sanding, minor repairs, and ancillary equipment. Completes sales or rental documentation and performs the full range of cash management and accountability duties. Processes NAF journal vouchers, cashier reports, and other forms, and resolves errors thereon. May fill in for othe
