About the role
In this role as a Branch Chief, you will be responsible for: Leading a team of staff conducting examinations of NRSROs and/or providing advice on legal issues under the federal securities laws as they relate to the regulation of NRSROs. Managing staff participation in various projects and assignments, including conducting NRSRO examinations, providing legal support of NRSRO examinations, and participating in certain international activities. Providing expertise on matters relevant to the oversight of NRSROs, applying knowledge of Section 15E of the Securities Exchange Act and the related rules. Drafting or reviewing examination findings, substantive legal documents, memoranda, and reports regarding the federal securities laws and NRSRO regulation.
