About the role
As a Supervisory General Attorney (Labor) (Resident Officer), GS-0905-15, your typical work assignments may include: Assigning cases to Field Attorneys and Field Examiners for investigation and analysis, taking into consideration the complexity of the case priority handling required, workload of the group, and related factors and is responsible for ensuring that cases are processed expeditiously, that quality standards are uniformly maintained, and time targets are met. Assuring that all cases are handled in accordance with basic statutory requirements, as well as, in accordance with policies, precedents, regulations and procedures established by the Board, the General Counsel, and the Regional Director. Participating with staff supervisors and individual Field Examiners and Attorneys in conferences with parties of cases in an attempt to obtain voluntary settlement of issues, or to obtain withdrawal of charges or petitions.
