Supervisory Financial Management Specialist

Duties include but are not limited to the following: Develops financial policy directives, including any agency guidance, necessary to effect improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of resource management operations. Serves as a member of the finance advisory team and issues instructions needed. Interprets financial guidelines and establishes master schedule for logical sequencing and timely accomplishment of the financial reporting cycles. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates a variety of incoming accounting reports to interpret results of operations, to track financial trends and events, and to resolve complex and diverse fiduciary and/or financial management problems. Plans operations, systems changes, and systems services for the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS). Manages the work of the staff engaged in financial management functions that support EOIR programs and operations.
