ATTORNEY-ADVISOR (CONTRACT)

Is responsible for carrying out matters pertaining primarily to intellectual property, including patent law and rights in technical data and computer software, and for related legal topics associated with science and technology (including associated Special Access Program (SAP) level duties and responsibilities). Represents the General Counsel's office at meetings on problems relating to areas of expertise. Attends meetings with high-ranking officials from DoD, other government agencies, and private industry on matters relating to Air Force policy in areas of expertise. As assigned and without direct supervision, accomplishes specialized projects, which require an exceptionally high level of legal training and experience. Such projects may involve participation in Air Force or intra-Air Force working groups and may require travel to military installations and other locations.
