About the role
As a Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Special Agent In Charge), you will: Direct all investigations of allegations of misconduct and breaches of integrity and issue Reports of Investigation (ROIs) in accordance with established investigative procedures. Present evidence and recommendations gathered and organized by subordinate staff to the appropriate departmental, OIG and other necessary law enforcement officials for consideration and adjudication. Ensure that all matters involving potential or substantiated criminal misconduct are promptly coordinated and resolved by the appropriate U.S. Attorney's Office. Review reports, memoranda, etc. submitted by the staff, and take required action, keeping the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Investigation and the AIGI current on the nature of actions taken and further actions recommended.
