Supervisory General Supply Specialist

Serves as the supervisor of the Receiving and Special Material Warehousing functions Serves as the technical expert in safe, compliant and efficient methods of storage and warehousing Supervises government personnel and provides oversight to contracted personnel who initiate, complete, verify, and process material and documentation associated with the storage, distribution and movement of hazardous material Compiles statistical data from research of records and data bases for scheduled and periodic reports Performs extensive research to identify and resolve receiving, packing, packaging, storage, issue and/or documentation issues related to hazardous materials and initiate/participate in process improvement events
