About the role
As a Criminal Investigator (Firearms and Training Unit), you will perform the following duties: Plan, execute, and evaluate law enforcement programs, including use of force, tactics, firearms, and less-lethal programs, ensuring alignment with agency policies and operational requirement. Evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations to the Tactical Operation & Training Division (TOTD) Unit Chief on policies, procedures, and operational practices based on national law enforcement standards and best practices. Provide guidance to filed office management and firearms, defensive tactics, and use of force instructors on agency policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and program objectives related to the TOTD.
