About the role
This position will allow you to use your expertise in administration to lead in the development and implementation of key support processes for the organization. This position starts at a salary of $133,953.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $174,144.00 (GS-14, Step 10). In this Supervisory Mission Support Specialist (Branch Chief) position, you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals managing a full range of mission support services and procedures. Typical work assignments include: Advising the Assistant Director, Mission Support, and other managers on key support processes, developing operational plans, objectives, and strategies. Monitoring and evaluating the delivery of support services to key field managers, employees, and other customers, developing and implementing plans for service improvement, addition, or deletion. Ensuring the integrity of all processes through management control review, directing program monitoring, and leading the resolution of identified issue
