About the role
The Office of Mission Critical Operations (OMCO) is responsible for supporting OCSPP administrative and research programs, including budget, financial management, human resources, information technology, and information management. OMCO is also responsible for providing program support services related to rulemaking, peer review, data life cycle, risk assessment assistance through research efforts, and communications. OMCO coordinates OCSPP's engagement with international organizations and collaboration with other EPA office and federal agencies on international matters. Specific duties of the position include, but are not limited to: Planning, developing, organizing, directing, and implementing major programs for which the incumbent is assigned Agency-wide responsibility. Directing and managing the programs, resources and staff assigned, including developing plans, preparing the office budget for submission, establishing internal operating policies and procedures, allocating resources
