About the role
Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Provides wards, clinics, operating rooms, secondary storage locations and other hospital facilities with supplies and material including, but not limited to, sterile and non-sterile medical supplies, instruments sets, and equipment. Maintains stock and primary and secondary inventory locations for all clinical and administrative services. Pulls stock and material, replenishes stock inventory, interacts with customers and maintains records on stock levels. Distributes items according to established or ad hoc requirements in a computerized inventory management system. Completes specialty cart preparation and stocking. Informs clinic and ward personnel on new or changed items and supplies, current medical resources and shelf life. Communicates with lead or supervisor on any concerns related to supplies, equipment and procedures. Provides information to customers or external stakeholders regarding medical supplies.
