About the role
As a Project Engineer, you will: Lead, facilitate, and coordinate business case development and cost-benefit/financial analysis and evaluates technical content of submissions to ensure that proposals contain adequate risk assessments and address pre-engineering, engineering, contractual, accounting, and program management issues. Provides guidance to Program Managers on how to create and manage program/project budgets, true-ups, execution, funding levels, and forecasting. Certify that business case proposals are complete and technically sound, approves and facilitates projects through the approval process. Identifies potential process improvement initiatives to facilitate a more efficient and cost-effective Capital project approval system. Uses economic or financial models and techniques to determine and evaluate the impact (costs, benefits, relative risks) of a wide range of transmission, generation, or related capital investment projects.
