About the role
The incumbent serves as the Director of the Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Division (ECAD), which is responsible for developing and implementing the Region's enforcement and compliance assurance programs and statutes that EPA administers in the Region, states, and/or territories. The Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Division works closely with the other Regional Divisions, Office of Regional Counsel, Criminal Investigations Division, and Department of Justice to deliver a comprehensive enforcement and compliance assurance program utilizing the entire spectrum of compliance assurance tools available to the Region. Specific duties of this position may include, but are not limited to: Serving as a key participant in the Region's strategic and operational planning activities, making determinations regarding priority areas, investments and disinvestments, and ensuring completion of assigned projects or priorities.
